On-Site Staff Training

Attack head-on the most commonly cited problem of technology in education today--staff computer literacy. Teachers are more effective in integrating technology into their teaching and the learning process when they are competent computer users. Increase the confidence and creativity of staff with training that matches specific technology goals.

The Fourth R offers hands-on training and learning materials related to core technology skill areas including operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, multimedia presentations, graphics, desktop publishing, and the Internet.

On-Site Student Training
Computer courses taught on-site by the Fourth R can be offered as part of the school curriculum or as an extracurricular activity.  Training can be scheduled during normal school hours, after school, or over the holidays.

On-site training can prepare participants for standard certifications. The Fourth R supports three certifications that are internationally recognized standards for computer literacy: 1) International Computer Driving License; 2) Microsoft Office Specialist; and, 3) Internet and Computing Core Certification.  The Fourth R courseware and assessment software have helped thousands of educators and students achieve certification success.
